Plastic Injection Molding Capabilities
Crystal Die & Mold partners with our customers during all phases of mold design, sampling and piece part production which enables us to understand, manage and support our customers' total plastic injection needs. This allows us to produce the most complex of parts and helps differentiate our capabilities from that of our competitors.
The products we mold and decorate can be found in electronic components, modern communication equipment, household products, fiber optics and a variety of other applications.
Crystal Die & Mold continues to welcome and approach the manufacturing challenges of the modern day by dedicating ourselves to our customers, people, technology, total quality and continuous improvement.

Early Supplier Involvement
Developing a quality prototype is one of the most important steps in manufacturing a part. Not only does it allow the engineering team to test the functionality and usefulness of the part, but it also allows the team to test its mechanical feasibility. Because of this, Crystal Die & Mold integrates itself early on in the prototype development stage of a component so that we are able to assist in perfecting the design of both the part and the mold used to make it. While we retain mold building capabilities, we frequently exercise our relationships with our local domestic or overseas partners based on the requirements of each customer. Our clients often appreciate the recommendations that we are able to provide as we collaborate to improve the cost and manufacturability of each part.
Once the design of the initial prototype is complete, we offer 3D printing services to produce a completed part at a low cost prior to building an actual mold. A large benefit of this capability is providing customers with an opportunity to find potential issues with their prototype prior to jumping to the next steps of the molding process. Our service offers a quick turnaround time and material flexibility to produce a near-identical part to one that would be ejected from a molding machine.
In addition to the initial design of each part, our team will continue to provide support throughout the lifetime of each product. We focus on process development beginning at procurement of all required materials to delivery of the finished part and even include in-house tool maintenance and repair as a testament to our machines and operators. Ultimately, our goal is to complete the manufacturing process in the most efficient manner possible, therefore reducing the cost and the level of effort required by our customers.

Injection Molding
Complex parts with many intricacies are often what give manufacturers a difficult time in being able to replicate the part that a customer has designed and requires. We specialize in producing the parts that many other molders feel aren’t worth the time and headaches that it takes to perfect a complex component. Using the 55 years of experience that we have in the industry, we are able to overcome any issue that a part tries to throw at us and replicate parts with even the finest tolerances.
To give us the ability to overcome these issues, we have invested in 30 presses with tonnage ranging from 22 to 300 ton capacity and that are capable of molding nearly any injection-type material. Our broad assortment of molding machines allows us to produce the most complex part types with extreme consistency and deliver them in a just-in-time inventory management style. Our advancements in automation provide consistency and reduced costs through the utilization of robots and conveyors.

Our Quality Assurance
As a manufacturer that has been operating for over 55 years, we know the high level of quality that is expected of us by our customers and aim to exceed that quality through every part that comes off of our machines. We capitalize on our many years of experience within the industry by applying our knowledge and skills in order to eliminate variances between manufactured parts and their intended design. We do this in a manner that can not only be seen in a single part, but one that can be observed in repetition across every piece of plastic that we mold. We invite you tour our facility so that we can show the level of care and thought that goes into the parts that we manufacture today.
